About the studio
A British studio that makes one thing, properly.
Girls on Girls is a small, independent UK adult film studio. We were founded by women who'd worked across the wider industry and wanted to build something narrower, slower and more honest. Lesbian adult cinema is the only kind of work we do.
What "independent" actually means here
There are plenty of UK studios with adult-content lines that include some lesbian work among other categories. We're not one of them. Girls on Girls is owned and run by a small UK team, with no corporate parent, no investors with a quarterly opinion, and no third-party studio rentals where someone else sets the rules on our shoots. The result is a much smaller release schedule than a generalist studio, and complete control over how every scene is made.
Why lesbian-only
Specialism is partly an artistic choice and partly a duty-of-care one. When you only make girl-on-girl work, you build a casting pool, a crew, a director's eye and a set culture entirely around that. Performers aren't being slotted into someone's "lesbian scene this week" rota. They're working with a team that does this every day. The camera language is different. The pacing is different. The conversations about consent before, during and after a shoot are different.
How we work with performers
- Verified IDs and signed contracts before any shoot date is locked
- Day rates above the UK industry average for girl-on-girl scenes, in writing, no on-the-day renegotiation
- Closed sets, with only the contracted crew present
- Intimacy coordinator and a separate wellbeing lead at every production
- STI test certificates exchanged in advance, within the standard industry window
- Final cut shared with the performer before distribution, with named takedown rights retained
- Distribution only to vetted UK and EU adult platforms with enforceable performer protections
Distribution and platforms
Our finished work is sold to a small number of vetted UK and EU adult platforms with proper performer takedown rights and DMCA enforcement. We do not upload to public tube sites, do not sell to platforms with a poor record on leaks, and do not licence works that were not originated in-house. Compliance
We comply with UK adult-industry regulation including the Online Safety Act age-assurance provisions, GDPR for performer and applicant data, HMRC requirements for performer payments, and the standard industry STI testing protocols. Performer records are stored in UK-resident infrastructure under restricted access.
